Hello people.

I recently got a HP ZBook 17 G2 Laptop with the following commponents:
Intel® Core™ i7-4810MQ
NVIDIA Quadro K5100M
32GB DDR3 Ram
SSD 512GB

I also have a GTX980m and i planed to exchange the GPU for that one.

For now i spotted that the layout of the MXM Cards is the same, so is the Power consumption and generation, but i doubt that the BIOS whitelisting will allow the upgrade.

Is there a way to successfully achieve the wanted attempt so the Laptop will start, post, and boot normaly?

I have totaly no idea on how to tackle this, im only good with the dissasembly and assembly part of that project, if possible.
A bios mod is not required for what you want to do. Only the tables of the .inf files need to be changed.
After that, installation is possible in unsigned Windows driver mode!
