Thank you very much.
Hello.  Thank you for all the work... the filedropper link seems to be down as well.  Could you repost?  Thanks again.
Due to link permanence issues, I am going to re-mod this BIOS image and then upload a permanent link.
Hello all,

I have finished the BIOS mod! In it, you will see a very setting-filled Intel Menu, as well as a few new settings in the Advanced Menu. For quick reference, the VT-x (virtualization) setting can be found under Intel>CPU Control Sub-Menu>Merom CPU Control Sub-Menu>. AHCI can be found under Intel>ICH Control Sub-Menu>Integrated Device Control Sub-Menu>ICH Sata Pata Control Sub-Menu>.

Precautions/Disclaimers:

Make sure that [if applicable] your notebook is fully charged (100%), that the power adapter is properly connected, and that the chance of a power outage occurring is as minimal as possible. Do not interrupt the flashing process. If possible, it is good practice to have a working CRISIS recovery disk handy when flashing your BIOS.
