Hello all!

I would like to ask for your help please with a problem I'm having with my G50-80 running on BIOS B0CNA0WW.

I am no longer able to run VMs on this laptop cause the Intel VT-x is disabled on Windows/Linux but on BIOS the setting is enabled! Tried to restore factory defaults, remove the CMOS battery no change..
The laptop also takes a significant higher time to display the Lenovo screen during boot.. my though was that maybe the BIOS got corrupted.

Attempts to flash over the same BIOS failed, I've used the InsydeH20 utility with logging enabled and the flash fails with the below error

Flashing new BIOS stage
Error code : 3010(0x00000BC2)

After the restart I am seeing the "InsydeH20 - secure flash invalid firmware image"

Do you believe its worth buying SPI Programmer + Pomona SOIC 8 and try to flash the BIOS over or the laptop is just about to die?

Also, can I use the bioss.fd with the SPI programmer?

Thanks in advance for your time Smile Smile
