i think you misread my post
i said specifically that cfg lock and overclocking lock are at varstore 0x2 what you called varid=0x2 otherwise known as cpusetup. Those bits (0x43 for cg lock and 0x10E for overclocking lock) are set to 0 as they should be to unlock undervolting, however it doesn't.
The 90% sure part means im 90% sure that CpuSetup is the correct varstore to be writing to.

1. Because your #7 comment(error code : 0x0000001a) ,so i guess you have the similar situation with another model(GU603ZX). That user met error code : 0x0000008 and can't write anything correctly by Grub orRu.efi both. So , now that it can't write anything how do you continute next step? this is my thinking.

2. Your understanding for variable offset is right , disable "CFG Lock" & "Overclocking lock" it should to activate Throttlestop , myabe you could also try to enable "XTU Interface" then see if the XTU is in active states.
3. Anyway ,now known information is that disable some locks will not let fpt reflash modified bios(this method is still valid in 11th gen laptops). so if you want to unlock hidden menu in Asus 12th gen laptops ,prepare a spi programmer is necessary.
