Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Hello

I really could use some help in this one!!!I am the owner of compal ifl90. Here is the deal i can't backup my vga bios so write a new to it's chip or ovelclock it. I think it's a bios limitation because in the 1.12 bios upgrade it upgrades the video bios. So i tried to extract the bios with the phoenix bios editor but i wasn't able to find the video bios.rom!!!So any ideas maybe can somenone help me... Is there a way to unlock the bios or even make the bios able to read any card and not only one with the compal video bios??? Please help me i really need this!!!

What Graphics card do you want in the laptop?

Also , whats your existing card? As i seem to be able to find more than one VGA ROM!

my current video bios is 8600m gt 512mb and v.60.84.42.00.23

and i would like my bios to recognise the following video bios:
ACER video bios 8600m gt 512mb v.60.84.62.00.39 http://www.mediafire.com/?ujz2jmzy1rw
ACER video bios 8400m gt 256mb v.60.84.62.00.39 http://www.mediafire.com/?2zjynz3mmw2

Thanks a lot man!!!but a question is this bios going to update my existing vga, compal 8600m gt to acer one or it just recognize them????I am asking beacause i want this bios to update my compal card with acers one and being able to recognise both acer 8600m gt and acer 8400m gs!?! And last question you used phoenix bios editor to accomplish that???

the existing compal 8600m gt bios has been replaced with the Acer one (newer version)

and yes i used PBE

Thanks for your help i recover my laptop!!! I had the fear that phoenix bios editor maybe too old to be able to mod compal ifl90 bios and that's true as my friend google said phoenix bios editor isn't compatible with santa rosa which compal has.
