Dear mates,
I'm so to say "a bit back" Smile

I have a GA-MA790FXT-UD5P mobo and a 1055T X6 Phenom. Updating modules is a kind of hobby, so I always try to change smth.

the thing is that giga's award bios is modded by the manufacturer so much that cbrom 1.98 and previous versions spoil it.

I've foud the way out by using this tool, but not for all cases: http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads...post223494

So the problem is: http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads...post288145

as far as I understand, the offsets of other modules have changed too after replacing agesa with hex and deleting the zero bytes.

so, I'd like to know if it is possible to fix the offsets or to find another way of updating agesa.

btw, I did the same for mf570 sli: http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-AS...2#pid19122
but failed: the bios became unbootable. The POST shows that there is an error with cpu core initialization. There is a little hardware bug with mf570: it doesn't support cpus with fractional multipliers (for example, 12,5), so not all am3 and am2+ cpu will work.
Theres no point upgrading agesa on a GA-MA790FXT-UD5P . It already has AGESA v3.7.0.0 which is the latest and full Phenom X6 support

Therefore no modding needs to be done!

thanks, but I just want to know how to update any module in giga award bioses of the latest mobos. my mobo is a kind of guinea pig for me.
