i have the same laptop. i also looking for a unlock to change the fan speed in idle mode.
i tried to get a dump, but i get a error 678 message, any idea?

@fritzbene Where does that tool come from? You got an AMD device. How is it supposed to run Intel software?
I got a similar laptop. I'd like to get deeper into the topic.
-> What can be done? How is it done? Fan speed seems like a good starting point to me. Maybe we can even trim CPU voltage levels?
Is there some guidelines/material from Insyde-insiders to comprehend the UEFI structure and everything?

@musk009 As this is an AMD-based system, the Intel ID tool is not applicable. I made an incorrect assumption that the CPU was Intel, without verifying. I appreciate you pointing out my error - it will help me improve my knowledge and do better at checking platform compatibility in future recommendations.
