I have an AMI Bios 2212 for my Asus TUF Gaming B660M-Plus WIFI D4 mainboard with an Intel I5 13600KF.
In the BIOS I can enable C6 sleep and package states but that does not do much because the AMI BIOS by
default enables C1 Demotion. This prevents any real power savings which are expected when C6 states are enabled.

Is there any option in the BIOS to disable C1 Demotion? Does anyone know why this is enabled by by AMI and HP BIOS?
Intel has it disabled by default so someone needs to turn it on.
On HP Server machines on the other hand this flag is not enabled but nowhere in the BIOS settings is this flag mentioned
under his real name at least.
To me it looks like consumer machines are configured towards low latency but higher power consumption while "real"
servers can take advantage of CPU deep sleep states which fully powers down whole cores with their caches.
