Good morning everyone, a person asked me to update the Windows 7 that he has installed and to at least bring it to Windows 10. The laptop is a Sony Vpceb42eg that he bought about ten (or maybe something more) years ago during a trip to India.
I tried to increase the RAM which currently amounted to 2 GB with 2 sticks of 8 GB each for a total of 16 and although I have seen the RAM it does not allow me to install Windows 10 it gives me an error which according to research on google it means that there is some problem with the ram.. I suspect that all this ram is not supported and that it might take a BIOS update to do this (but I don't know where to find the bios because Sony has removed these files from media.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can install windows?
