hi dansolo, the bios flashed flawlessly. running 8.7 now. if im still having issues with my ssd's, i might just try that 9.6.

thanks much!
Hi,

I flashed the X48CDC24-AHCI120E-IMR87-JM10717 bios two times from DOS using AWDFLASH, at first with all BIOS settings at default. and also a second time with AHCI enabled, but both attempts the old Phoenix Option ROM AHCI showed up, NOT the Intel 1.20e AHCI.
Before that I already have been using a modded BIOS with working Intel 1.20e AHCI enabled, so obviously there must be something wrong with your BIOS =(
Are you sure the Intel AHCI is integrated? I think not.
I used AWDFLASH with the following flags /cks/sn/py/cc/cd/cp/ld/qi/WB/ch.

I would really appreciate if you could please provide a proper BIOS with Intel 1.20e AND Intel 8.7 ^^^maybe also one with both Intel 1.20e and Intel 9.6 (plus the JMicron 10717), might try that one as well.
Would that be possible? I actually do not really need the updated RAID as I have a LSI hardware RAID controller for that, but I need the Intel AHCI, besides my HDD performance using the crappy Phoenix ROM went down like at least 20% and is also way less constant =((

Many thanks in advance for your effords and work!!

Sorry for the delay, looking into it again now. Will update this post if/when I come up with something in a bit.

I switched to a P67 setup, so I haven't bothered to work on BIOS stuff since I can't even do it for my own machine (it's UEFI).
New files for you all to try, for both the ADC people and the CDC people. 9.6 + Intel AHCI 1.20e+0027 (3a22 device) + JMicron 1.07.17 for ADC. Both 8.7 and 9.6 with Intel AHCI 1.20e+0027 (device 2681) and the same 1.07.17 I gave you before. This is all untested so make sure you keep a version that you know works on your flash drive if you require AHCI and/or RAID to run your system.

I extracted the stock Phoenix AHCI ROMs from each to check the device ID and added Intel AHCI ROMs with the same device ID and what should be a correct checksum, so hopefully it'll work. (It won't [censored] up your system if it doesn't - it just won't recognise AHCI - hence keep a BIOS that you know works handy)
Dansolo, thank you very very much for your work. I haven't tested the bios yet, but will post here if it worked.
Again thank you very much!!!
Is it working, any news?
here is some useful ROM for Jmicron 363
