I have a an unusual issue
I have an MSI 7187 mobo, phoenix bios, modbin 2.01.02
Bios has many features missing including ram frequency which is wrong,
I extracted my bios.bin, opened it with modbin and 'most' of the items i require 'look' like they should already be active.
i.e. they are set to normal, and whole tree is visable
any idea's i can post screenshots if it would help
basically my ram should be running at 266mhz and for some reason my bios is making it run at 200mhz
The memory is kingston ddr2 pc6400 so I know its good way faster than this.
My machine is constantly momentarily freezing up...
i have flashed rom once, but only manadged to add pci options
thanks
Attatched are my .bin bios file and 2 pictures of the actual bios
On the main home screen we should have frequency and voltage
on the other there should be ram timing settings...

Thanks

Try pressing Ctrl F1 , CCtrl F9 or Ctrl Home in the BIOS to see if any extra advanced options are unlocked and made visible. Some BIOSes require this key combination to show advanced options

Good luck!
