Thanks for any assistance
Here you go , i used Acer 2.1 SLIC + Certificate Included:-

1. Copy and paste ******.XRM-MS certificate file into C-Drive.

2. After pasting this file into C-Drive, go to START - ALL PROGRAMS - ACCESSORIES - COMMAND PROMPT. Right click on Command Prompt and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

3. When Command Prompt opens, type at the prompt: slmgr.vbs -ilc c:\********.xrm-ms and hit the Enter Button. Wait for the Script Host to answer you with a message that the license was installed successfully....this could take a few minutes and so be patient.

4. After receiving the message that the license was installed successfully, type at the command prompt:

slmgr.vbs -ipk *****-*****-*****-*****-***** (Replace with any OEM SLP Product Key for your installed version of Windows 7 , they are not hard to find).Be Patient and wait for the message to say that the Product Key was successfully installed. After it says successfully installed, reboot the computer.

5. When you are back at your desktop, go to START - COMPUTER - right click on Computer and choose PROPERTIES and see if it is activated with an OEM product ID.

Thanks, I will be trying it as soon as I can. Probably first of next week and will report whether it works.

Thanks again,

Sadalius

EDIT:

Got a few minutes of free time and got to try it out. Well I at least flashed the BIOS. RW everything is reporting that it is slic 2.1 so the bios mod was a success. I'll be trying to install win 7 probably Monday of next week. Thanks a bunch!!!!
I can now confirm that this BIOS worked for me and my veriton m410. Took me a while to actually get to installing win 7 so I'm sorry it took so long. It worked like a charm.
Flashed my Veriton M410 with this BIOS and now I'm having boot problems. It still POSTs and I can go into the BIOS settings, but it hangs at "verifying DMI pool data" and won't boot from the hard drive, optical, or even USB! Is there any sort of BIOS recovery mode for this machine? Help much appreciated.
Hi kahlil88,
Were you able to use your Acer again? I've also have a Veriton M410. I just updated the bios with one that I downloaded from Acer and I'm getting the same results as you. Hangs at Verifying DMI Pool Data. I've tried booting to multiple HD's and CD's, but the process just hangs and it won't pass the boot along after the bios update. I'm changing every setting I can think of in the BIOS with no success.

Unfortunately not...the machine came to me for free, so I didn't put much effort into fixing it when I ran into problems. I do still have the machine and hope to fix it eventually. The best option is probably to replace the BIOS chip and flash only the stock BIOS. I hope someone will come along and prove me wrong.
For kahlil88 & brasslan : About DMI POOL DATA

Boot again with W7 DVD ----- select Repair ----- select command prompt -----
Type " BOOTREC.EXE /FIXBOOT " (without quotes)
Reboot system.

BOOTREC will only fix problems with Windows not booting. The problem is after the BIOS flash, the computer won't boot from anything at all. I've tried to boot from numerous CDs and flash drives with Linux. I actually donated it to a computer repair shop a few weeks ago, so at this point I've given up. Flashing the BIOS can be quite a roll of the dice...
