I have a rather old K7M board here I wish to get up and running with Windows 7, but I first want to know if it's possible to take off any HDD or memory limits? Right now the memory is limited at 768MB, but the board can take ECC and registered PC100/PC133 SDRAM (for whatever reason I do not know) and I have a couple weirdie sticks of registered PC133 here, one works (512MB) and one doesn't, and I'm hoping to get it to work (1GB). so, can it be helped?

Thank you very very very very much in advance if such can be done and is done. Big Grin

Tried all my Award , Ami and Phoenix programs but no luck!

And i definately wouldn't , not in 1 million years consider putting windows 7 on that! Tongue lol

Thanks anyway, but if I had the memory for it I think I could possibly get Win7 running on it... it's a test PC so the limiters disabled would be a glorious thing for many other reasons.

I'm afraid that if I even touch the BIOS file slightly with even a hex editor I might brick the thing. I'll try someplace else then, thanks anyway! Smile
