Greetings I'm new here.

May I request an unlocked bios.bin for Acer Aspire M5600 because the previous thread's link is already dead.

I have just updated my bios to R01-A3 it was previously R01-A2 but it still doesn't have overclocking options maybe since i dl'ed it from acer support..
if you post a link to your bios download we can see if theres anything hidden

I actually hoped it can be overclocked due to this thread (but the link to its moded bios is dead):

I've just noticed you were the one who posted that thread Big Grin. Sir your help will be highly appreciated.

My motherboard is an Acer manufactured Intel 946GZ + ICH7

And sir if I may also request, could you give me tips on how to do a basic overclock if ever its modded bios has overclocking features Big Grin
You already have Voltage options in Advanced >> CPU Feature >> TM2 BUS VID

Overclocking options are under Frequency Control - the speed of your CPU = Multiplier (Locked unless Intel Extreme or AMD Black Edition CPU) X Frequency = Speed in mhz

Try at your own risk!
