Hello,

can anybody help me, to mod my ASUS A6T 708 bios with Support for
an AMD TURION TL-64? Normally the is a TL-52 processor installed.

The Mainbard accept the TL-64 processor but the BIOS didn't.

the G2K-BIOS contains the microcode for the TL-64.

You'll find both BIOS files in the attachment.

I'll pay 10€ or 10$ per Paypal for a working Bios.

Please help me, where ASUS didn't... Thanks...

Try it at your own risk , i extracted the cpu microcodes out of the G2K bios and inserted them into the A6T bios

Hello and thanks for your Bios-Mod.

I've tried your ROM, but it doesn't work. There must be bulit a processor check later in the booting routine.

With the TL-64 processor and your Bios-Mod, my system is booting up in the same way as the original 708 BIOS i've postet in my first mail. On the screen i can se that a processor with two cores @ 2200 Mhz was found.

All seems to be fine, but then appears this Error Message:

*****Warning: Unknown Processor Revision*****
The processor(s) installed in your system are of an unknown revision. Please contact your BIOS vendor for appropriate updates.

after that, the system halted with an "fatal error"

i've built in the TL-52 Processor again an all works fine...

Bye
