Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Trying to install and SSD for operating system and a RAID10 setup for data. BIOS won't find SSD when RAID option is set for drive types. Right now I had ver 1203 of AMI BIOS for the board. The Intel option ROM for the ICH9R controller is V7.5.0.1017

Can you please provide us a working link for the original BIOS?

yep, it is fine, so we can work with that BIOS...

Thought I'd give a try myself. I used MMtools and was able to replace existing Intel Option Rom but kept getting a 'bios too big' error when I tried to boot. I tried a few different versions of the option rom they all returned the same error. I guess I have to delete some entries in the bios? Either that or leave it to more capable persons!

These mods always take a few goes because theres always a limit to the highest RAID rom version you can use. I removed someof the multi language roms which arent needed to free up space.

Give this one a go , it uses Intel RAID v8.0.0.1030
