Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

1. Notebook Acer Aspire 5942G-333G50Mnbk.
2. BIOS: 1.07 from 2010/11/08
3. Type: Insyde.
4. SLIC: Acer[ACRSYS-ACRPRDCT-LOHR]2.1.BIN
5. BIOS (it would be great to obtain Windows version of BIOS because of problem booting in DOS mode)
6. ACPI.

Its recommended that you ALWAYS flash the bios from DOS , whether modded or the original - better chances of being successful

Your bios already has SLIC 2.1 Present , can you please run this tool to confirm whether its disabled or not (if it is we might not be able to help , there arent any tools for Acer which can unhide a hiddden SLIC). Please post a screenshot
