My new office PC is totally passive cooled with a BIOSTAR CN896 -- Viotech 3100+ -mobo and I want to know if this 512kB-BIOS has any option to tweak or to update. It's an AMI-BIOS and I can't find any EPA or Splash inside wich would be nice to have.

There were a couple of things hidden in this bios , most importantly a whole menu to control the integrated VGA grpahics and an option called "GFX and PCI-E VGA Coexist"
These settings have all been unlocked and may help you resolve your problem with the graphics card

Dude, this works like a charm! There got to be some fine tunings but thanks to all these options it is even possible to make this VIA C7 run like a rabbit... It'll take its time to get the optimum out of this board/proc but I'm very proud of the future things to come! Nice work 1234s282, my friend!
And I'm very lucky to see that I was not right in case of the logo!
