Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

I have an Acer M3201 with bios R01-B3.
The bios currently has greyed out options for adjusting clock speeds for the CPU.
I have searched for ages throughout the bios for any way of unlocking these options, as I wish to overclock my Phenom X3 8650.

I know about the existing R01-B3 unlock patch on this site, but it is for the "Acer AcerPower FH" and I didn't know whether or not it could be used for my M3201.

Also, I am wondering, is any way to unlock the last core of the CPU through the bios?

These grayed out settings might just be readouts - to display the current clock speed - they actually might not be editable!

I really hope that it is editable in some way. Like I said, I saw the R01-B3 for the Acer FH that had "unlocked" options for overclocking, so I hope it's similar.

No signs of core unlocking (as expected). But no signs of FSB changing too, unfortunately. I'll have a closer look - maybe they've cut it deeper than expected. Though, timings, multipliers and dividers might be unlocked. Not an easy task but it's real.

Hmm. What confuses me about that, is that there's already one for R01-B3, but it's not for my exact pc model.

R01-B3 is only a BIOS version. I don't know how brands name the BIOSes, maybe two BIOSes with the same name for different boards won't have anything similar. Give me a link and I'll check it.

That's odd. It's not listed on Acer's site under the FH bios versions, there's only R01-C1.
But, the patched FH bios you guys have here is R01-B3.

Did you read the folder's name?
M7200_M5200_M3200_M5201_M3201_ExE420

It's exactly the same BIOS that you have.
