I was just curious if there'd been any progress on this?
I'd be willing to make a small donation if additional cpu support could be added, including the CPU I'm using, which is:
Intel Pentium D 840
SmithField, Socket 775 LGA
Pentium D 3.20Ghz

I'm getting an error when trying to open the downloaded file :
" ...\SLICM09_GX620A11.rar: Unexpected end of archive "
I have downloaded it multiple times with different browsers and the result is the same. Can someone post a mirror to the file ?

I don't know why the attached file gives me that error but the one from the mirror works. Thank you!

I have a DELL GX520 too. I updated my cpu from P4 650 3,4Ghz HT to pentium D 945 and now i have the F1 alert message, but the system works perfectly and windows recognises the new cpu. Is there a way to delete this message without updating the microcode?

I don't think it's possible, which is a shame.

Hey Guys, like a lot of you I found this page/forum in my search for an end to the "Incompatible Processor" message on boot, which doesn't make any sense seeing as the computer handles it perfectly and windows sees the processor!
I found this site where people managed to add SLiC to the bios of the GX620, which is the same as GX520...

Is there any progress on this as of yet?

Hi there guys, i'm in the same exactly case as Ariel, i got Dell GX520 that came out with Pentium 4 HT 3ghz, and i updated to Pentium 4 HT 3,4ghz (650) with no major problems, after that and although p4 was working fine, i updated bios to the last release A11, however i recently purchased by very few money a CPU Pentium D 945 (3,4ghz dual), and i mounted it on my system, the system goes fine, better than with the p4 ht of course, and the only issue is that when it starts working advises "alert, incompatible processor detected", so it's necessary to press f1, this is annoying and i'd like to know if any bios mod avoid this.... i saw some posts regarding dell gx520/gx620 but i didn't see a solution for this issue...
Thanks in advance,
Enyel
