here is the new modified bios which contains the performance menu and the 2 other lost menus [attachment=2261]

i`m sorry for the previous modified bios but i think this new one would works great Smile

also please upload few pics for the new menus inside the performance menu.

Ok thanks, yeah... you're right. I once checked the chipset datasheets and it isn't listed there, totally forgot this.
Unfortunately no... the only thing that changed is that "SATA hard drive" and "SATA optical drive" is now back in the "advanced" tab. Nothing new, and "Performance" options are still gone.

FINALLY , this works as i managed Big Grin i really don`t knew how i lost my concentration at the previous modifications , but now it works well Big Grin

thanks for the pics Smile

if you have changed any setting and the notebook didn`t boot .
you should disassemble your notebook then remove the CMOS battery for 20 to 30 minutes and this would restore the CMOS defaults and make the notebook bootable again .

thanks for testing this modified bios Smile
THREAD MOVED TO UNLOCKED PHOENIX BIOSES SECTION .
Haven't had a lot of time for testing so far, but changing the QPI Frequency doesn't affect anything as far as I've seen. At least CPU-Z reports no change of the QPI speed, when I raise it to 6.4GT/s it stays at 2.4GHz instead of going up to 3.2GHz. Will have to do more testing to say anything final, but it doesn't seem to work. May be chipset related, I don't know, have to check some datasheets.
well , i think overclocking not only depends on CPU but also depends on the chipset in your motherboard.
infact i didn`t try overclocking any of the CORE-i series .
it may be you should modify other option before adjusting QPI or something like that.
also , in phoenix bioses we just unlock the menus and options but we don`t get involved with the routines which make the option works cause we don`t knew where these routines are located Big Grin
just try refering to the datasheets .
Sorry, but where or how do I go about installing the files. I haven't tried it as yet but would like to know where I place these files. Thank you.
the bios attached in post no. 23 is the full unlocked one .
you should flash the bios.wph file using winphlash tool from windows or using PHLASH16.EXE from dos .

Sorry to be a bother again, but I would like to get a step by step (If I'm not wasting your time, or if your not to busy) on how to do this using Winphlash x64bit please. I have done the A09 update a while back using the HP method but that's installing new BIOS not flashing or modifying an existing one. If its not to much of a bother if you can give a step by step instruction list please. Thank you.
