I would like to install a Mini PCI GPS in the WWAN slot.
I have a Toshiba (uBlox) PCI-5S-1-500 GPS
When installed, the system reports the unapproved WWAN card must be removed. As far as I know, this card is GPS only. It only has a single antenna connector.
So, I suppose I am asking for removal of the WWAN whitelist.

I am interested in de-whitelisting of bios too.....
Have a dm1z-3000 with crappy ralink wifi card, but want to install intel new one (6200 for example). As far as we know, only hp-allowed mini pci-e cards could be added (try to connect bcm4322, but bios do not recognize card).
I would be most appreciate if someone unlists all mini pci-e cards for this laptop.
after 3 weeks i have not yet figured out to remove the whitelist check from these HP bios, that will take a while

if i cant find in one hour i will probably never find, so the answer is no progress.

As I understand there is still no idea how to remove whitelist, isn't it?
There are several questions to public:
1. Standard way to find eeprom module etc in .bin from sp51291.exe file doesn't work, do it? Even if to use HP UEFI?
2. Can man remove whitelist if bios back up (.rom file) will be provided?
As for me, I played some with .rom file, which could be read by ezh2o and edited with WinHex. But could not find needed sector
May be some could find and modify it?
This is so much needed. I bet bios won't allow an ssd either.
Does anyone know if dm1z-3000's msata is ssd compatible?
