Hi. (Not sure if this belongs here, or in the Pheonix Unlocking thread, Mods can you move it if required?)

This is old school and has been asked before, without resolution, so I was hoping some kind soul could help me out? I would really make my day!

I have a Toshiba Pro M50 with V1.90 bios. I can't link directly to the file, but you can select it from this page http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/i...service=UK

I've swapped out the stock 1.4GHz Celeron M CPU for a Dothan Pentium M 1.7GHz CPU, and have run into the 598MHZ issue where the bios will not control the speedstep. Can this be added to the bios? I've tried the Toshiba pom200t150.ima method described here http://www.tabletpcbuzz.com/showthread.p...sor/page52 without success

Regards

Moto
Sorry but the speedstep setting isnt in your bios and its not hidden. in fact , the only useful cpu related setting i found hidden was hyperthreading technology which your CPU doesnt support anyway.

Sorry

Thanks for taking the time to look. I'll abandon this project and move on to something else Big Grin
