Hey Guys,

Please excuse me if this is the wrong section to post this in. I have an BIOS I want to modify off of a 95 machine (Sony Vaio PCV-90) The information that I have gathered on the machine is that it is an AMI 1.0.10.DD04. I've tried MMTools (all versions) but all of them won't load the rom. I can't even find the actual rom. The update floppy shows 4 files.

1010DD40.BI(zero)
1010DD40.BI(one)
1010DD40.BI(two)
1010DD40.BI(three)

I am guessing that that BIOS is split but i could be wrong... Although the Motherboard does have 4 chips that say Intel Flash on it.. So could the BIOS be split between those chips? Is there a program to combine them in to one?

With thanks,

Pilot
Hey Freedom

The AMI rom is generally 512kb and the combined size of all the PCV-90 "bios files" is 512kb.
As far as i can see the BIOSUP.EXE combines all the "bios files" while installing the bios.

I will try to reverse BIOSUP.EXE but cant promise anything ... i dnt usaully wrk wit AMI bios Tongue
