Hello

I would like video card in my notebook (msi gx620) is a new install.
I have an ATI HD4670 with 1GB DDR2 memory concerned.
but unfortunately this card is apparently incompatible.
as shown on the attached images is like to start the notebook.
but it then remains for the hardware id query are.
now I wanted to know whether it is feasible to modify the bios so that is the video card detected.

if that is possible, then one could do for me.
furthermore, it would be nice if hidden functions can be activated.

I would appreciate any help.
you will need to flash the video card bios most likey. I need a bit more info before I can tell you a direction to head in to solve your issue. first i know it's an ati card but when switching these cards out in laptops it usually involves installing a card made for a different laptop. so i need to know who the card was produced for dell, hp, msi, asus, acer, etc. and the specs for the card. second we need a copy of your laptop bios attached to your post please.

I am grateful for the efforts.
what i mean is these after market cards are branded for a particular oem. you need to determine who it was branded for first. the oem's brand these cards with an oem vbios to work with their systems they sell it part of the whole white listing racket so you have to buy from them in most cases. where did you buy the card from, as you may be able to find out which oem it was designed for from the product listing.

Hello

the card comes from a acer aspire notebook.
ok then your problem is most likely that right there. alot of oem's want you to only use their parts. that vcard has a video bios on the vid card itself and it is branded as acer.
the thing is you need to flash the video card not the laptop. and at the moment there is no oem video bios available for the HD 4670 1024 MB GDDR2 card.
