Hi everyone, I discovered the forum last week when messing with an HP nettle3 motherboard and contributed to that thread.

I have a 802.11n Wi-Max card I want to add to the whitelist in my bios and I found another post floating around the web and tried using phoenix bios editor and it gives me errors trying to open the file.

Here is HP's latest BIOS...but when I expand it I don't find a ROM or BIN...just the two ini files and three .FD files (I think these are the BIOS but what one do I choose)
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp51001-51500/sp51315.exe
When I try to open these in phoenix editor it crashes...

Any help to get me in the right direction would be appreciated.

I will go read the HUGE thread that is sticky and then search archives later tonight.

Thanks in advance!

Wow that is cool, thanks! I went to d/l it though and it said Password protected.

What all did you do to remove it? I haven't had time to play with this project the last few days.

Again, appreciate the help!
You have a PM.

Well I flashed today and it took the flash but still have 104-unauthorized wireless card issue.

Strangely enough, if I put the card into my open mini-pci-e port it will POST fine...but then I would have to rip it apart and re-route wires and crap...Rather use the main wifi port.
File is well patched, so you must have flashed stock bios again by mistake.

Ensure you flash using THIS FILE
