Hi Guys,
Is it possible to have the whitelist removed from my HP Pavilion DV6211tx
or alternatively modified to enable the 4965AGN card specified below:

Old Card:
Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4222&SUBSYS_135B103C&REV_02

New Card:
Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4229&SUBSYS_11008086&REV_61

The BIOS files for F.2D are here ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp42001-42500/sp42187.exe
I notice that F.2E is available but this distribution looks like it's wrapped into an update and you can't extract the BIOS file.

Many thanks in advance,

Cheers.
I have located that device ID in BIOSCOD03.ROM, and have patched it to always match.

Hi Camilo,
Didn't work for me i'm afraid.
Flashed OK but on reboot it still complained about the wireless card and will not boot from any device (HD/CD/USB) so it looks like it's bricked.

Chris.
