Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Hi, i have read a lot about HT in i5 750, like the i7 860. both are same physically, so, it is posible mod the bios to Recognizes the i5 as the i7 860?
I think that according to the processor are the options that gives the bios.
I hope you can enlighten me.

No, this isn't possible. Even being enabled in BIOS, HT doesn't work - it's locked in the CPU. Tried this on s478.
