Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Hello,
I'm new as you can see. I'm here on this forum as I, and some others, got a problem:
It's about the 3D stereoscopic for alienware m17x R3.

In fact for a long time we try on nbr to enable the 3D option on gtx485m ( this gpu is officially not supported by dell on alienware laptop but it's working).
With the recently update from dell with IdeaStorm, dell add the gtx580m for the m17x R3. But the gtx485m isn't still supported.

With a recent Bios update for this laptop: gtx580m can get 3D working. So we can imagine that something on the bios is responsable for enabling 3D for gtx460m and gtx580m.

My question is: someone who got some knowledges on bios insyde hack can help us to enable 3D for gtx485m please?

this is the last Bios for m17xR3 ( A07 version):

If someone can give 3D working for gtx485m on m17xR3, i will give a donation for the hard work as it might be and because i want 3D with this powerfull gpu

Thanks for your PM and the post. Our Phoenix team is getting ready to begin working on our "version 1" release of our R3 modifications, and we will research this too see if it is possible to incorporate.

If we could get the 580M working with 3D on the A04 bios that would be great too. Anything newer than A04 throttles the GPU

OK, I installed it. You are using A08 for some reason, we wanted everything done in A04 because everything ABOVE A04 throttles the NVIDIA GPU's

WTF???? This let me go up to the vBIOS throttle at around 78c! I will forward to the BIOS update on the thread on NBR and see if it helps them too! If this is actually working thanks so MUCH!

(Mind you I am using a 580M so darcoder's 485M may still not work )

EDIT 2:

Is this just the A04 BIOS with the string A08 written on it instead? This is exactly the same filesize as the A04 BIOS

Just had someone with a 485M confirm that it doesn't work. Also, after I flashed to another BIOS then BACK to this one the throttle is back

Still can't get the throttle off again. Must have been a fluke :'(

I just patched where the pci id were compared and made all go the same way as if gt580m were detected.

It sets a couple of bits using an or instruction which can be the capabilities of the detected card and continues. If you haven't notice any change from original to patched then maybe vbios is what does the trick.

So, i still don't understand why in the A04 bios 3D doesn't work for gtx580m and in A07 or A08, 3D is working :? That's really strange.

Do you open the PAR00MEC file with an HEX or an software? I want to look inside
