Thank you! I flashed the bios using the mobo's built-in flash tool (f12 during boot up) which behaves like the dos flasher. Works fine, no problems at all. Real smooth update. Great job.

P.S.
No problem with activation of compaq ms7-oem version or vista-oem. Both worked fine.
