Hello,

The options in my BIOS is very limited, and I need to enable virtualization.
I was wondering if anyone can help me unlocking this option for my BIOS Smile?

The Bios Upgrade:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw...ang=&tool=

It says it's version F.54 A at the page, but when I'm using msinfo32, it says: BIOS-version/date Hewlett-Packard F.55, 29-03-2010.

I don't know if that will cause any problems Smile?

Thanks in advance!

i have flashed the bios with the one provided above and i just have a question: my graphics card only uses 256MB of memory but i wanted to boost that up so that i could get a better graphics experience, is there any way of doing that using this unlocked bios or a program? by the way the bios works perfectly! thank you
is the graphics card integrated !!
if yes , then i can look for any options for it .
if no , i think its automatically get more from the ram when it needs .

Thread will be moved to unlocked section .
Thanks for confirming,

Hey AHMED! I wanted to use your modded BIOS to unlock the AHCI mode in the BIOS settings of my notebook Compaq Presario CQ50-112EO, but when I downloaded the file you supply 'winphlash.rar' and tried flashing the BIOS both from within Win7x64 and Win8.1x64 I got 2 errors:

The first one was the first file I have attached. Namely that it could not find a certain 360af37.wph file, but I just copied the file 360AF54.WPH that was already in your 'winphlash.rar' and named it 360af37.wph [cos that's what the flasher was asking for] so that solved that.

The 2nd error is the 2nd attachment I have made. Namely that it cannot load a certain driver from C:\users\desktop\winphlash\PHLASHNT.SYS

I did right-click and Unblock the file called 'PHLASHNT.SYS' within the folder extracted from your 'winphlash.rar' but that did not work either Sad

The BIOS driver supplied from HP for my notebook is exactly the same one as the one for the user who started this thread as well as for another user who posted here https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-U...CQ50-104AU and to whom you also seem to have replied.

In other words my BIOS driver from HP is sp45070.exe and is found here:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw...03&sw_lang=

Could you please help me somehow? I really wanna enable AHCI cos I have upgraded the notebook with an SSD, but honestly have no idea if the notebook supports AHCI at all. Was hoping your modded BIOS would answer that for me but ... Anyway, any help would greatly be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!!!
