I don't know if this uses the Insyde bios or not but could you please have a look and see if there are menu options you can enable?

Thank you for taking the time to look at it.

If there is anything I need to do to assist you please let me know.

the bios file can`t be extracted from the exe file ........ i think its a special dell bios not a standard phoenix bios.

So nothing can be done ? It's UEFI Bios according to notebookreview forum so if it is possible to create a test file as you mentioned in the thread above it would be great.
Lots of people who have M6600 with 2920XM will be happy Smile
Thanks.

Ok , first try extracting the FD file ( bios file ) from the exe ............. before the bios is being flashed , the exe extract all files in a temp directory ...... i need these files as the exe didn`t open in my notebook .
then i will look into it and create test mods for you but please notice that no recovery method is know for the UEFI till now as the required files for recovery is not found any where .

You need to have the application opened when checking the temp folder.
The files will be there. Path so going to be something like "C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Local\Temp" and then in a folder called "PhoenixFlash" or similar.

There is no such folder. This bios file is not flashed with phoenix flash tool.
I just run the .exe bios and it restarts my laptop the second I press "OK" . The flashing is done outside windows environment.
i tried to open both application (m6600A09.exe) and the temp folder but there's nothing there ! (controlpanel>folder>view>show hidden files>unchecked hide protected operating system files)
when i try CMD with these command : "m6600a09.exe /Writehdrfile" or "m6600a09.exe /writeromfile"
i got this "error: invalid command line"
i boot with usb to dos and try again ! unfortunately none of the command work.

is it really a phoenix bios ? or some special bios that developed by dell themself ?
PLZ can someone check the bios file ?
Lots of people will be happy
Hi guys.
I've managed to use python to extract the HDR out of the m6600A15.exe file, and it can be read with MMTool Aptio.
Unfortunately this is where my talents end.

Is this what is necessary for breakthroughs to be made in unlocking Dell precision UEFI bios?

The site won't let me attach it directly so I've shared it here:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/xrinkzpymhidno...20dump.hdr

I see tons of options inside MMTool, but have no idea how to use any of them.

The great options to have would of course be: Unlocked CPU TDP/TDC/Multipliers for users with extreme CPU's, disable the check made for supported nvidia GPU's to enable the option to switch between dedicated and integrated GPU, full whitelist for any device type, and probably 1000 other things that would be great to have on this machine that dell hasn't seen fit to include.
