To add to my previous post - If the current unlocked BIOS does not allow for manual switching, I will offer a nice donation to whomever can unlock that specific feature. I really don't want to return my M14x, as I have maxed out the specs for this beast of a machine.

Cheers,

Josh
Can't remember if that feature exist in this bios an even less if it's already unlocked if present. I mod lots of bioses and don't see results by myself, don't have all machines i mod bios for to see results and so my visual memory cannot help here. Will look later in the bios for this and tell you.
Ok that works man. Like I said before, I know for certain the older M17x BIOS had this option, but dell is starting to recode their newer BIOS's without it. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, yet it would be awesome if it can be unlocked.

Cheers,

Josh
Thanks
I think it has that option already unlocked in the Advanced -> Video Configuration menu.
Ok cool.... I will check it out after work. I got my internet back for the time being at home, so I will reply back later on with the details and bla bla bla.... Thanks again dude.
Well I have run into a slight problem... It looks like the included utilities in the exe for flashing the BIOS aren't compatible for flashing in DOS? I run linux, and when I booted into my biosdisk image, it gave the error that it couldn't be run in DOS mode. Any suggestions? I searched online for a bit for a DOS flashing utility to use, but got partially confused, due to this being an Alienware computer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
