Hello, I just bought 2 Hitachi 3TB drives, they show up in windows as 3TB (after updating the Intel RST driver), but the BIOS recognises them as 750GB. After searching I found this awesome forum! I already have the latest BIOS for my mainboard.

I have a Gigabyte EP45-DS5 mainboard, with latest BIOS F13a
Here is the BIOS file: [attachment=2768] (had tot .RAR it)

Please update the Intel RAID rom so I can use my new 3TB hdds in RAID1 Smile

Thanks in advance!
No need to mod my BIOS anymore, I already did it myself Wink

I used CBROM198 EP45DS5.13A /pci 8086-2822_10.5.0.1034.bin

And it works like a charm!

Thanks for the helpful forum topics!
Intel Matrix RAID 10.6 release / 11.0 alpha (all of the ones I've done so far are the alpha, but I've decided to start mentioning it)
JMicron JMB363 1.07.28
Realtek PXE 2.41

Untested

Don't use IMR11 if you use an add-on RAID card, I guess. Apparently it conflicts with some of them. You can go for either one if you don't have an add-on RAID card.
