Thanks for the reply and the tutorial... got me a lot further down the road! Looked like it was about to work but then a message came up while flashing saying Flash interface too big. So looking at the thread and current dell bios's I think this is because i have A11 flashed already... so I am guessing I need to rollback my A11 to whatever I can get from dell?

I`m so sorry for my late reply , i had alot of exams this week and i still have some the next week but i have found some time for this
I have modified the original exe file and replaced the original bios with the modified bios inside it :-

Sorry about that... I didnt realize that, now I feel bad but I hope you did well on your exams
It looks like I will not have to use the dos method of getting this to work, which is a plus
A box with checkboxes popped up, then when it got to what looks like the last box - Flashing BIOS, it told me the bios was the same or newer than the current version, and it quit.
Can you make it think it is A12 instead of A11? I have A11 installed.

Did not make it to the checkboxes this time, came back with "BIOS image checksum verification failed" error code -104

Also , try using phlash17.exe as it might work well .
