Create bootable floppy or USB stick, using the folowing tools:
HP Tool:
http://rapidshare.com/files/113917960/HP...t_Tool.rar
MiniDOS:
http://rapidshare.com/files/113919628/MiniDOS.rar
Rename your bios to amiboot.rom
and add the folowing file to the floppy:
http://rapidshare.com/files/115841024/Autoexec.rar
Note: The flashing proces will start automaticly, in case it didnt starts type this comand:
amif895.exe /iamiboot.rom /pbnc /n

My mistake!! This is an Award bios , not an AMI
Bootable CD image - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/747181/MS-6577%2...34s282.iso
burn to disc , boot from disc and at the command prompt type:
awdflash bios.rom /f /py /sn
good luck!

Hi, You wouldn't happen to have one of those .iso images for the V4.1?

THANK YOU!!!
I have done work on my boss's HP Pavilion 775y and updated with HP's latest bios and the cpu fan stopped working due to they changed the Fan control voltage to 7V (thats what the update says).
With your bios here the cpu fan now works! It seems to be going all the time but it's better than never working at all. Now he will not have to press F2 to continue using his computer at Bootup due to cpu fan failure.
Thanks again!!

Does anyone have fresh links for this great bios mod, or can tell me how they did it. The links are dead.
