Hi Camiloml, I would also really appreciate it you could unlock the previous bios for the 257 located here:
http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/...er&SC=PA_6
(I tried the 1.12 bios update but it made half my keyboard not work so I am back on 1.10.)
Thank you for all your help you do here !! You Rock dude !
Uploaded v1.10 unlocked, test it and tell me

Hi Camiloml, I saw you had it uploaded last night but my ISP went down right as I went to download it, now my internet is back up but I can't find the file.
Am I looking in the right place? (your link on the right under testing bios?)
Thanks again,
Steve

Hi, I sent you a PM with my email but haven't heard from you.
Just wanted to check if you got it?
Thanks,
Steve
hey did anyone got the unlocked bios?
seems camiloml has dissapperd.
btw. there ist a 1.14 bios update for the acer d257 on the acer homepage.
it would be nice to get an unlocked version of the bios.
or does anyone know how to mod an insyde H2O Bios ?
award, ami or phoenix is "easy", because there are many tools that work good.
the insyde Bios is an EFI Bios running in "legacy Mode"? od did i get anything wrong?
is there a way to get the efi bios to work or to choose between both?
thanks
and hopefully camiloml will be back here soon ;-)
thanks,
i will test it...
what about v 1.14 of bios?
LINK HERE
and the much more interesting question, how or better where to get informations about unlocking insyde bioses?
perhaps i can help a little bit oder ...
testing and telling what is working...
bye
