Are you completely sure? The behaviour you describe is the one when hp_tools partition prevents updating a RSA signed bios.

Then I could be wrong. For, as of last night, I was able to go from BIOS version F.09 to F.06. Maybe I don't know where to find he HP_Tools partition? Huh
I was actually able to locate it and just deleted it. I then made an attempt to flash it again, and now it seems to work.
Thanks for your assistance. Big Grin
Nice Wink
I'm pretty sure that my machine is bricked at the moment. For, it won't boot up, and the the cap key keeps on blinking. Would anyone be kind enough to provide me with the necesary files needed to make a BIOS recovery flash drive? Because I no longer have a Envy 14t- 2000 in my procession.
Anyone? Sad
Hi this is the guide to do it Wink http://bios-mods.com/bios-recovery/insyd...-recovery/
Rename the usb pen drive " HP_TOOLS ", download from HP the original bios for your notebook, Use the file in the Attachment place it in the usb pen drive , rename the original bios ( follow the guide ) and place it inside the 2 folders " Current " and " Previous " on the Usb drive
Good luck Wink
