I Have an HP Pavilion DV6 - can you please tell me if this would work on my Laptop?

I have the same problem as you, my bios is locked and I want to change the boot mode in bios, my new hdd (sata) does not boot for setup windows plz help me

It will work of course. It's ok on my HP Pavilion dv6-2125sf

You have a HP Pavilion dm3 not dv6 so please create another post or search a post related to dm3 issues.
