Guys, I am new to BIOS mod. I recently bought a hp laptop with
"Insydeh20 version 03.60.48F .1 A". I want to replace the splash screen of hp (in blue color) with a lamborghini symbol. Is it possible ? After hours of reading I came to know Insydeh20 is the toughest one to crack. I tried the steps in tutorial with an award bios just to get the feel of it. Please let me know. Any help is appreciated. This is the bios: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw...ob-96635-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&os=4063&product=5116523&sw_lang=

I soo badly want to change the splash screen. I already got a laser engraving of Lamborghini in my laptop, thought it'd be cool to place it as splash image. I am ready to risk brick, if you guys can provide me ways to backup and get it running back incase of a fail update. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you guys can do it for me, please specify the colors, size and the format needed to replace the image. I use photoshop and so please specify the format you need. I understand its bitmap (but no idea about some RTL compression I saw in the tutorial).
I understand the risks. (The fact that it is RSA-signed). I am ready to try it out. (I hope its the winkey+B is all that is required.) I tried opening it in andy's tool and the decrypted file i loaded it in ezh20 and tried to change the logo, but it did not work. Please let me know.

If it cant be done please can u do the same for my friends laptop which is hp620, SP50167, F.05A

I tried modding it myself, bricked it 5 times Tongue . Since its not encrypted i had no trouble with EZh20, i tried changing ("PATCHING") all the logos.. with no luck. It displayed "PATCHED". It had the right size, saved in both 16-bit bitmap and monochrome. After that I used HP's tool itself to flash (after repackin the CAB file with some software). Thankfully i had noted down the recovery location and I was able to unbrick it. PLEASE ... help me
