Hi all, I wasn't sure which sub category to put this question in so I've put it here and maybe the mods can move it if they feel its more relevant in another sub category.

I have been given an Acer Aspire 7520 on v1.33 BIOS, I want to put a Hackintosh release onto it, something like iAtkos S3v2, iAtkos_L1 or Deneb 1.6, When I boot to install none of the Hackintosh versions see my HDD, which is a bit of a show stopper, I get the feeling the BIOS is automatically using settings for the HDD. This laptop also has two HDD bays so the potential for raid nice.

Ok, that's the background info, the BIOS is about as basic as a BIOS can get with very scant info and settings but the laptop seems more sophisticated than the BIOS is letting on, so, I would like to know if this particular BIOS; which I believe is the last BIOS release, has hidden tabs? and if so can they be unhidden?

The original OS is Windows Vista... 64bit Yuk!

BIOS link is to the 7520 download page, the actual link is kind of hidden and the FTP link at the bottom of the page doesn't show any files Huh

Also need to ask SLP and Slic are for the activation system for windows Yes? what are the benefits of having say 2.1 over 2.0? I suspect I have 2.0 with having Vista, would my assumption be correct?
