Hi all,

I've been hunting around for the past couple of weeks on and off trying to find a way to get an Intel Centrino 6300n adapter working in my new laptop. As some of you may have already found out the Intel Centrino 6200n is plagued with problems and an apparent fix is install a 6300n.

I purchased a 6300n and attempted to install it but was presented with the Whitelist error stating it would not boot because of the un supported card. I'm yet to find a supplier that with sell me a HP whitelisted card and HP doesn't want to have a bar of it.

So, hence why i'm here...

I need to get the white list removed from my BIOS.

Current 6200n hardware ID's are..

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4239&SUBSYS_13118086&REV_3E
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4239&SUBSYS_13118086
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4239&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4239&CC_0280

Sorry but I have no idea what the 6300n hardware id's are because i've never been able to start the computer with it installed.

Any help will be much appreciated and donations made on receiving a fix!

Thanks,
Sledge

Try this, maybe the radio is off, if this happens then you need to tap pin 20, refer to the sticky posts, there you will find a link to a post with photos and an explanations about how to do it to enable the radio.
