Doesn't work. Still getting the blinking caps.

the blinking caps, is that a error for the wrong file or wrong methode? i have tried flashing the f13 over f13 on this netbook but he doesn't accept the file not directly from usb drive or with the folder structure on usb.

i would love to test it, but i think the recovery procedure on this netbook is different. i can't even restore a orginal bios with the recovery methodes discussed on this forum.

i have tried the folder structue, renaming my usb drive to HP_TOOLS, putting the file in the root of the stick.
I used the phoenix tool to discover the recoveryfile name but nothing worked. caps just start blinking after a couple of seconds.

Hi, I have dm1-4000er, which is I suppose the one discussed. Please remove whitelist from the above bios, otherwise I will smash this peace of electronic with a hammer some day. I use linux and can`t live with frequent kernel panics of broken wl module

PS Do I have to make another thread with 'sp55589' in its title?
