Hello camiloml,
tested bios on HP DV7-6199sl: works with reset problem.
Restored the original bios F1B.
Thank you so much for your work and I ask for a new bios without problems.

Forgive me if I'm breaching etiquette with how I'm asking this question. I'm new to this forum (new to using forums in general). Will this work for same model laptop but different OS? I have a HP Pavilion dv7-6199us with Windows 7 Home Premium SP1? Also if I have issues with this update can I go back to my old version and if so how if my laptop bricks after running this update? Do I need to make a backup on USB drive or CD ROM to boot from in case?
