Hello,
Please help me remove the whitelist from my BIOS so that I may upgrade the adapter to an Intel 6200 card.
Laptop: HP Pavilion dv6T-6b00
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
BIOS: F.02
ORIGINAL CARD: Intel Centrino Wireless-N 6150
NEW CARD: Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6220
BIOS DRIVER LINK:

Thanks!
It didn't work for me. I ran the BIOS updated and let it run for like ~15 minutes and it did nothing. Luckily, I was able to recover my system so no harm was done. Not sure why the update failed though, I didn't get any error messages or anything.

Test and tell me And read the sticky threads, i know you haven't done yet.
I would love a working one.
Thanks!
The new wireless card drivers installed fined. But for some reason Windows is saying "you have an external Wifi switch turned off." I have a function (F12) key that toggles Wifi on and off, but its now its permanently set to ON. I did a full reformat/reinstall Windows and its the same problem.
Any idea whats going on?
Yes, the always problem of the Radio switched off.
Power off laptop, remove PCIe wifi card, cut a thin piece of electrical isolate tape and blind pin 20 of the wifi card, then insert back in the slot and you're done.
