I have the Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R (rev. 2.0) motherboard and recently purchased an Intel SSD drive.

Latest (non-beta) bios for my Motherboard is here:

I would like to upgrade the ICH9R rom in the bios to support the newer SSD.

I would be happy to do the mod myself, and have heard that I can use CBROM 1.95 to do it (possibly), but I have also heard about the intentional "memory hole" that Gigabyte left on the bios of these boards to make it difficult unless you know what you are doing.

Every time I have tried to manually release the old rom from the bios and insert a newer Raid rom, the new bios fails to boot properly (Thank God for fail-safe bios).

Supposedly version 8.5 of the ROM fixes some SSD issues, as per this forum here:

THAT, unfortunately, is the p35(NOT "C"), so it does not support the DDR3 which my motherboard has on it.

Would anybody be willing to either quickly flash the proper ROM for me, or point me to a guide on how to get Gigabyte boards flashed with the newest Intel roms?

Thanks in advance.
