Please unlock the Bios for ACER ASPIRE 5742 bios

Hello all! I have an Acer Aspire 5742Z Laptop with an InsydeH20 Rev3.5 build BIOS.

Win7 doesn't give any Wake-On-Wireless-Lan capability and I understand I might be able to enable this in the BIOS.

However, the BIOS has no "advanced" menu options and I don't even know if - when I see the advanced options - this would be a possibility.

Can anybody help?

Hi! I'm curious as to whether or not modding the current bios for the 5742 will allow me to allocate more video memory to the onchip intel graphics processor? I tried an earlier bios (AA_5742_PEW71127_UlkMenus_ByCamiloml.exe) found on this site, but it didn't unlock any video options. Is this possible at all?

current bios: (Acer 5742 BIOS rev 1.29)

The BIOS I'm using at the moment is the stock 1.29 BIOS above, with no Advanced Menu at all. It just has:
[Information] [Main] [Security] [Boot] [Exit]
and greys out the video memory.

Helloo everyone, today i did the most stupid thing:S Just updated to 1.29 hoping to get some settings to change and nothing.. minutes later i saw that an user from here unlocked 1.27, DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN, why didnt i look for that before.. someone can help me? This [censored] doesnt let me downgrade u.u Thanks you all!!!

I have an nVidia GT540M, and im pretty sure that this card doesn't feature the Optimus Technology. It does have CUDA Technology.

Wanted to change the Display Mode on BIOS, in order to disable the IntelHD and only use the GT540M for graphics, in order to install and use Mac OSX Lion (iAtkos L2) properly.

Help please? Is there any way to disable the IntelHD besides via an unlocked BIOS?

EDIT: Downloaded and installed the camiloml file, and it did allowed me to change the Display Mode, but it didn't saved the settings permanently. Just like Anakin94 mentioned.

Iam having problem unlocking option for dedicated memory for vram ,its grayed out and all other options aren't there to change.

In the Insyde section there is a 5742G 1.24 BIOS. It may have what you want.

ye i looked almost everywhere,only versions available are 1.27 =[
