Yes , its the official MSI bios but , if you read the post , it has been unlocked for extra options which include overclocking. The stock MSI one doesnt give you overclocking options , this one does!

hi, how do you flash your bios with this file? I tried it with the msi given awfl8626B.exe, but it says the bios file is not recognised.

You will have to create a bootable USB drive/CD/Floppy containing DOS , the awdflash.exe utility and the bios file.

Then , boot from the disk and type this at the command prompt:-

awdflash.exe bios.bin /py /sn /cc /r

Replace bios.bin with the name of the bios file , you also might want to put a copy of the original bios on there before you start , so you may be able to recvover if the flash fails

I can't seem to get the flash program to work...ive tried different DOS versions, and tried tirelessly to find any help about this, but has ANYONE gotten it to work?

hi im kinda new to this but everytime i try to flash bios all i get is canot find sorce file no matter what way or flash utilliy i use

i m a newbie, i havethe above said motherboard with bios version v1.6, i want to update my bios to this version. How to do it? The guides are confusing
