Hello everyone!
I wanted to know if it was possible to unlock the BIOS of that laptop,
an Aspire 6930G ... or if it was already unlocked the link because I have not found anything so far ...
I mainly interested in the possibility of:
_ Adjust the fan
_ Enable the OC, managing frequencies and voltages
I thank all those who want to help me out
regards Luke
Please provide a link to the BIOS download, you can find this on the manufacturers website.
Thanks.

But the link is dead...
You can find it here :

One of the most interesting option, is the possibility of disabling Speedstep option (to avoid CPU-throttling for example).
Perhaps a deeper work is possible to update some option rom,a better DSDT table,etc....
I'm interested by an updated release too

Hi
The bios for this notebook is a phoenix bios and not Insyde bios.
Please download bios from here
http://www.mediafire.com/?eky823ylp2mzwvq, it's bios original version 3238 modded by Kizwan.
It was me that originally asked to mod this bios.
Flash it at your own risk, check exactly the model of your notebook otherwise you risk to broke your notebook.
Crisis disk for this notebook
http://www.mediafire.com/?zdng0nzimdi to help in case of wrong flash.
Thank you so much!!!!
Do you now what is changed in this bios vs the original one?
The notebook is an Aspire 6930G-734G32Bn
It has nVidia 9600M GS video card onboard
I have pretty much "video driver crashes" causes by FlashPlayer when viewing multiple video's at the same time.
Do you experiencing the same?
