Hi,

is it possible to unlock the hidden menus of my Bios (F08) (HP Pavillion TX2140eg)

I also tried to add a new W-Lan device (Hex developer ID) - but it didnt work - i now have to burn the chip again - Is there a way to disable the device verification?

Hey Ahmed,

I have also this Bios version, that has been deleeted from HP Website - it has been on my laptop when i bought it. I think my Laptop was more stabil with this F09 Version compared to F08. Can you find out the difference between theese Bios?

If you havent started your unlock work, please use F09 (Backup) for unlocking.

Hi ALDEMA,

BACKUP BIOSs can`t be flashed after modified and it will be useless for you .
also, i`m sorry for my late response as i was very busy in my study ......... do you still interested and want me to unlock it ! i have started unlocking and it will be ready tomorrow if you replied ( i don`t want to unlock BIOS and no one try it Big Grin

) .

i want try it. But I have problems to find out whether my notebook is RSA Signed... or is this not important to me?

RSA signed is only for INSYDE BIOS but your one is normal phoenix Smile

but when i start to flash modded bios phlash16 says: "PartID not found in table of supported parts"

you can try flashing from windows or using another version of phlash16.exe with the same commands .
